“This mansion located on Heath Street in Brookline was once home to the Lowell family. Augustus Lowell, a noted businessman, and his wife Katherine Bigelow Lawrence named it Sevenels in the late 19th century because they had seven children. Of of those children, Percival Lowell, became a well known astronomer; Abbott Lawrence Lowell, became president of Harvard; and Amy Lowell, became a famous poet”. Their old home, which members of the family occupied well into the 20th century will be the site for this fine upcoming estate sale.
