This home has been occupied for over 50 years by a survivor of the Holocaust with his family. The gentleman has devoted a good part of his life to the study of this horrendous event undertaking extensive research, writing and teaching. He became an internationally recognized authority on the subject. For many years until his retirement he taught a major course on the Holocaust at Harvard and at the Harvard Divinity School and was a member of the Harvard Russian Research Center specializing in the politics of the Soviet Union.
The sale will include hundreds and hundreds of books and related materials that he assembled on a great variety of subjects, history, politics, sociology, philosophy, literature and poetry.
